just a little question.

Have any of you ever used this website? giftlistcompany.com

I've been looking for an independent wedding gift list to use so that we can choose things from different shops amd this one seems quite good. They have a shopping emporium with tons of shops you can choose from, there seems to be everything you could want in there! I'm just wondering if any of you lovely people have bought from a list on here, or set up a list on here at all, and what your experiences were? thank you! x

  1. Not used it but I do like the brands it seems to be supporting! Net-a-Porter, oh yes please! I guess I just worry about independent gift lists.

  3. We used wrapit for ours, and it was great- the range of gifts was exactly what we wanted. the showrooms were great, so was the website.... and then some of the gifts took 9 months to arrive, and it went bust shortly afterwards. urg. I do really like them but yeah, good to be careful too i guess.

  4. mmm,I hadnt thought about this really, but they do mention wrapit in their FAQ's specifically, but since I dont know what it was that went wrong with them I cant tell whether their answer is good or not!

  5. I used one called myregistry.com which worked pretty well. The upsides were a) that we could choose gifts from ANY shop we could think of and b) that we could be non specific for items like kitchen utensils - you can just put up a picture and a description and let people choose where they purchase the gift themselves. The downsides were a) that guests had to pay delivery charges and b) that guests had to get the gifts delivered to themselves and bring them to the wedding. Could be worth a look...
