The list.

Thought I'd show you the gigantic list (with tick boxes!) that lovely bridesmaid and I made a while ago, to show you that ticks are starting to appear!

I started on the 'transport' box today, tell you more soon!

  1. Woah easy tiger with all these posts you are spoiling us. Can I see the whole list please - I need to be told what to do next and the wedding magazines lists terrify me. x

  2. hey hun, we went through one of those, crossed off everything that didn't aply, ticked those that we had done, and then wrote out our own, modifying them to suit us. I agree, those lists are terrifying, and ridiculous:
'remind key guests about their speeches' (2 months before?!)
'remind your fiance to get a haircut' (2 weeks before)
    and my personal favourite
'relax and get an early night' (the night before)

    Pah.
seriously, though, do it. I'm still adding to my list, but they are all itty bitty things. just sit down, and re write one for you. its so calming to know that anytime you have a thought about something else, you can add it to a list, and it stops me constantly running over what I need to do in my head.

  3. I'm dreading looking at my list because I know there are things I should have done months ago that I haven't got round to yet. I'm going back to Scotland for a week at Easter and there is going to be some mad wedding planning going on. I have only 4 and a half months to go and I have no shoes, no transport, no flowers, no hair dresser, no invitations and no men's outfits. The magazine lists terrify me too. Thanks for this post - it's put me in the mood to write another list!

  6. all that makes a wedding is you and him two witnesses and someone in front of you telling you what to say. everything else is for the party or pictures :)

  9. Hurrah to you for making such a comprehensive list! In normal life I am obsessed with lists but oddly I haven't made a single one for the wedding. I might try to take a leaf out of your book though
