sneaky peek.

The only things I can find to take photos of today:

my bouquet (you can just see the lace its wrapped in) no I did not throw it, and yes, it was more beautiful that even i could have imagined. the florist did herself proud. also, that is my dress lying in a crumpled heap behind it!
mud stains on my dress, from a long lovely walk with James and Anna Hardy

and a tired, bashed, crushed buttonhole.
No, I have nothing better to do than make blog posts, some things never change, the husband has gone to the pub, and I'm meeting him in town later. I'll miss you all, see you in two weeks!

  1. eeeep your first post as a married lady!
Your flowers are beautiful and poor, poor gorgeous Suzanne Neville dress.
Can't believe you've let your husband go to the pub without you.
    TWO WEEKS! Far too long.

  6. Oh, such beautiful details of the day. Sounds like you've had a wonderful time! And I really support even married couples to keep doing things for themselves, me and my husband (feels so weird to say) thinks it's so important to see different friends in different constellations. And it gives people lots to talk about, when you're not joined to the hip (could be a pun in some way - didn't mean it so). But still... you get a little extra lovey dovey when newlywed, so maybe I should agree with Spare Thoughts above any way. :)
