DIY #2 completed.

Remember the hankies I posted about a while back? well the other night I finished them :)

(the rosebuds were already on them. I'm not superhuman)

  3. anna - almost, yes, its still back stitch but I sort of overlapped each stitch rather than coming back trough the fabric where the previous stitch ended. it made it much lighter on the back, but kept a heavy line on the front that took curves easier.

  5. Rebecca these are so thoughtful and pretty, such nice gifts that will be treasured for a long time I'm sure! (and for some reason it makes me think that this sort of thing would be an awesome blog give away one day, to see how many readers you have. embroider the innitials of the winner or something. Or maybe that's too much work !) anyway,

    I wanted to wait until I'd finished it before emailing but yes. And I'm inspired. Really brilliant, leaving me with a lit to think about!
